Yard Signs Begin Hitting the Streets in 13th District Race

It must be election season, with yard signs beginning to sprout up in yards across the Panhandle.

The candidates running to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon) have begun placing yard signs across the district. Republican Vance Snider seems to be the first one to place his signs, with the blue Snider signs appearing in front yards in Amarillo, Wichita Falls, and everywhere in between. He has competition though, as Ronny Jackson, Josh Winegarner, Chris Ekstrom, and Diane Knowlton have all begun offering yard signs to their supporters.

While yard signs do not win votes, they are an easy way for supporters to spread the message for their candidate. It is certain that even more signs will begin to show up as the March 3, 2020 primary gets closer.
