Tim Allen to Perform Comedy Show in Amarillo

Actor and comedian Tim Allen will perform a comedy show in Amarillo this summer.

Allen’s appearance at the Amarillo Civic Center was announced on Tuesday, with a scheduled performance date of June 5. The show is for mature audiences only, with only those over the age of 18 allowed to attend the performance. Staff may ask to see ID’s from attendees appearing to be below the age of 18, according to the venue.

Perhaps best known for his role in “Home Improvement,” Allen has appeared in numerous films and television shows. Allen won a Golden Globe Award in 1995 for his role as Tim “The Toolman” Taylor on “Home Improvement.” Allen currently appears in the Fox sitcom “Last Man Standing” and has appeared as characters in other films such as “Toy Story,” “The Santa Clause,” “Galaxy Quest,” “Wild Hogs,” and “The Shaggy Dog.”

Tickets for the show will range from $71.50 to $131.50 and are available through PanhandleTickets.com and the Amarillo Civic Center Box Office beginning Friday.
