Republican U.S. House candidate Josh Winegarner will host an event in Amarillo next week.
On Thursday, January 30th, Winegarner will host a meet and greet for veterans and supporters at Dyer’s BBQ on Georgia Street. The event will be one of the first public events Winegarner has held in Amarillo since launching his bid to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon) last year.
Winegarner is a former congressional aide and director of industry affairs for the Texas Cattle Feeders Association. He is one of 15 Republicans hoping to replace Thornberry, running for the Republican nomination in the March 3rd primary.
The event will begin at 2PM.
