Snow isn’t stopping Amarillo voters from turning out the polls, as nearly 70,000 ballots have already been cast in Potter and Randall Counties.
According to voter turnout information from Potter and Randall Counties, 69,769 ballots have already been cast between in-person and mail-in ballots. This number includes an in-person turnout of 19,103 in Potter County and 42,886 in Randall County.
Turnout so far has not surpassed total 2016 turnout, although strong turnout is expected to continue through Election Day. In comparison to 2020 numbers, in the 2016 presidential race, 28,651 ballots were cast in Potter County, while 54,305 ballots were cast in Randall.
Early voting continues through October 30. Election Day is November 3.
