APD Seeks Public's Help in Stolen Vehicle/Arson Case

Amarillo Police are seeking your help in an ongoing stolen vehicle and arson investigation as this week’s “Crime of the Week.”

According to Amarillo Crime Stoppers, on Monday, November 30, APD responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 4300 block of Southeast 25th Avenue. The business had reported a semi-tractor as being stolen. The suspect reportedly attempted to destroy the tractor by setting it on fire and left it abandoned.

The semi-tractor has been recovered and the suspect remains unknown. Footage from the semi-tractor’s camera system has been released to the public.
