If you didn’t get a chance to early vote, make sure you head to the polls on Tuesday.
The ever-important March primary is upon Texas again and a few races are carrying more importance and intrigue than usual into this election. In the Amarillo area, we have a hotly contested primary on the Republican side to decide who will pick up the party’s nomination to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon), along with a three-way Democratic primary for the seat. Plus, there are important races for constable positions and county commission positions spread all throughout Potter and Randall Counties.
For those who consider themselves engaged and informed citizens, now is your chance to have a say on the future of our counties, our state, and our nation. This is not an election you will want to miss.
Polls open at 7AM on Tuesday and close at 7PM. Make sure you get informed and go vote!
