Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician running to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon) in 2020, was on Fox News this week, discussing the coronavirus.
On “Fox News at Night,” Jackson discussed the coronavirus concerns nationwide and said that he would not test President Trump for the virus if he was still the President’s physician, mentioning that Trump is not showing any symptoms.
Jackson also said that some people may contract the coronavirus but never show symptoms and will fully recover.
“That just speaks to the fact that is not near as big of a deal as its being spun to be,” Jackson said.
The former Physician to the President is running slated to appear on the ballot in the May 26 Republican runoff for Thornberry’s seat, facing lobbyist-turned-politician Josh Winegarner.
