West Texas A&M University to Extend Spring Break Amid Coronavirus Fears

West Texas A&M University has announced several actions in response to coronavirus (COVID-19) worries in Texas and beyond.

According to a letter released on Thursday night from university president Dr. Walter Wendler, WTAMU is planning to extend spring break through Monday and Tuesday of the following week in response to coronavirus concerns. Most classes will also be instructed online from this point forward in the semester.

All special university events, including the May commencement, have also been cancelled through the end of the semester.
