With the Republican National Convention pulling events from its originally planned location of Charlotte, North Carolina, one Texas city is on the list of potential sites to host President Trump’s renomination speech.
According to reports, Dallas is among the cities currently being considered by Republican officials to house the 2020 Republican National Convention. Other cities being considered as a possible home for the convention are Jacksonville, Florida, Orlando, Nashville, New Orleans, and Phoenix, according to reports from national news outlets.
A report on Friday from NBC News also suggested multiple cities could be included in the convention’s festivities, where delegates are expected to renominate President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence for the 2020 election.
The convention is currently slated for August 24-27.
