Amarillo College officials have announced that the institution’s annual summer sidewalk chalk art contest has been postponed.
According to AC, due to low registration numbers and health and safety concerns regarding COVID-19, the event has been postponed. The postponement pushes the annual event to a date to be announced in the fall of this year. Traditionally, the competition has taken place each year on the last Saturday in July.
While no further details have been provided, AC says it “looks forward to hosting” the fourth annual event.
