West Texas A&M University outlined its COVID-19 testing and positive symptoms protocol in an email to students on Friday.
In the email, WTAMU said students who have COVID-19 related symptoms should not return to campus and should return to their place of residence. Under the plan, students who live on campus who are able to return their primary residence should return home if they test positive for the virus. Students who are unable to return to their primary residence who live on campus should quarantine in a designated on-campus residence hall, if they test positive.
Additional guidelines have been provided for quarantining for roommates of students who test positive for the virus, along with protocols for students who return to their primary residences.
The full guidelines are listed on WTAMU’s website at this link.
