Enough of this nonsense between Ginger Nelson and Claudette Smith.

As a taxpayer, I am absolutely embarrassed for our city. It hasn't just been a casual off the cuff remark between these two. Both of them have produced slick mailers, video, and digital campaigns attacking each other on a personal level. Stop this now! Regain some amount of dignity and respect if you can or quit the race. Neither of these people have shown the integrity or leadership we desperately need.

Thankfully, we have a true candidate that has a long standing commitment to Amarillo. A candidate that has a business here, makes payroll, and pays taxes. He has family in this city. Above all, he has proven that he knows how to stick with the issues in a respectful manner while still delivering a strong message for change going forward.

More than ever, I am supporting Michael Hunt for Mayor, and I hope you will give him your vote. He is a strong candidate that will not embarrass our town while getting things done with a upright and honorable approach.
