City officials have announced their schedule for the Independence Day holiday.
According to the City of Amarillo, City Hall will be closed Monday, July 5, in recognition of the holiday. Additionally, transit services, landfill and brush site services, and the Library system will also be closed on Monday, July 5.
For residential trash collection, Monday routes will be serviced Tuesday, while Tuesday routes will be serviced Wednesday. For commercial trash collection, Monday and Tuesday routes will be serviced Wednesday.
