According to Amarillo Crime Stoppers, on April 9, officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Cherokee Trail on a shots fired call. Later, a male returns to the white car and grabs a pistol, pointing it at the other two. A four-door Honda is seen reversing quickly into the white car, at which point the male with the pistol began shooting at the Honda as it left the scene.

None of the parties in the incident have been identified.
