Amarillo Police Investigating ATM Vandalism

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help in an ongoing investigation into a recent vandalism incident.

According to Amarillo Crime Stoppers, on Monday, March 1, officers responded to an ATM alarm at a credit union in the 6200 block of Hillside. Officers found the ATM had thousands of dollars in damage, but the money box was still intact.

APD says video shows an unknown suspect pull up in a newer model white Ford F-250. The truck was later found abandoned, as it had been previously reported as stolen.

A still photograph of the suspect as captured by the video has been released to the public and is included in this article.
