On Wednesday, July 21, APD’s Critical Incident Response Team was requested to assist on a barricaded suspect in Hereford. The suspect was wanted for homicide out of Amarillo. Authorities say the suspect had been involved in a pursuit with the Deaf Smith County Sheriff’s Office and barricaded himself in a residence in the 1000 block of Julian.
