U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Amarillo) took to social media this week to criticize President Joe Biden for attributing failures in his administration to former President Donald J. Trump.
On Tuesday, Jackson released a tweet criticizing Biden for blaming the Trump Administration for failures within the Biden Administration. The tweet came immediately following Biden’s address to the nation over the U.S. military’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, in which he pinned the blame to the previous President for certain failed aspects of the withdrawal.
“How many times did he blame Trump,” Jackson asked in his tweet. “Mr. Biden, YOU ARE THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF! STOP blaming Trump for your FAILURES! You’re a FAILED President and you need to RESIGN!”
Jackson’s tweet came following several days of criticism from Jackson over the Biden Administration’s handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan, including criticism for failing to secure the rescue of several hundred Americans left behind in Afghanistan.
