NWS Confirms Two Tornadoes From Monday Storm

National Weather Service Amarillo confirmed last night that two EF-0 tornadoes had touched ground near Dodson in Collingsworth County on Monday. Each tornado had peak winds of 85 miles per hour and had paths just under two miles.

One of the tornadoes, which was about two miles northwest of Dodson, had a path width of 125 yards. The other tornado, which traveled across southern portions of Dodson, had a path width of 180 yards.

While both tornadoes caused some property and tree damage, no injuries or fatalities are reported.
