Amarillo Pioneer Offering Free Obituary Posting Service

For families and funeral directors looking to place obituaries, the Amarillo Pioneer is happy to offer a complimentary service to place obituaries.

“We understand that remembering a loved one at their time of passing if often a very costly thing for families,” Amarillo Pioneer editor Thomas Warren said. “We want to ensure that every family that wants to remember for loved ones who have passed away can do so without concern about cost.”

Families looking to place an obituary for a loved one who passed away in the Texas Panhandle can do so free of cost with The Pioneer. The Pioneer asks that obituaries be sent to news@amarillopioneer.com. Obituaries submitted should be no older than two months at the time of submission. We ask that family members please include a contact phone number and email address so we can reach out with any questions.
