State Rep. Carl Tepper (R-Lubbock) will be seeking re-election in 2024.
On Thursday, Tepper announced on Twitter that he will be seeking re-election to the Texas House of Representatives in 2024. Tepper will be kicking off his campaign for re-election, alongside State Rep. Dustin Burrows, on November 28. The duo will be joined alongside Gov. Greg Abbott for an event at the Windmill Museum, beginning at 5:30pm.
Tepper, a commercial realtor, was first elected to the Texas House in 2022, defeating attorney David Glasheen to win the Republican nomination for the position. Prior to being elected to the Texas House, Tepper was chairman of the Lubbock County Republican Party.
Thus far, Tepper has not drawn an opponent for his re-election campaign. Meanwhile, Burrows will be opposed by Wade Cowen in the Republican primary.
