An MMA promotion will be making a stop in Amarillo this summer.

According to Peak Fighting Championship, the upstart MMA promotion will be hosting an event at the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum on Saturday, June 10. The event will be headlined by a bantamweight bout between Lubbock’s Mateo “Mighty” Gonzalez and Brandon Meneses.

This will be the first major professional MMA event to take place at the Amarillo Civic Center in years. Previously, the Amarillo Civic Center has hosted MMA events from promotions including Ignite FC and Shark Fights.
