Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) will be stopping in Amarillo next week as a part of his re-election campaign bus tour.
The event will be held at the Big Texan Steak Ranch on Wednesday, October 16th at 6:45 pm.
It will be a part of his campaign’s “Cruz Bus Tour,” which began on October 4th and will continue until Election Day on November 5th. According to a press release, Cruz plans to make “over 50 stops across the State.”
The rally will include Caroline Fairly as a special guest. Fairly is the Republican nominee for the State House District 87 seat, where she is hoping to take over from outgoing representative Four Price (R-Amarillo). Fairly was endorsed by Cruz early in her primary bid.
“This tour will focus on getting out the vote, engaging with Texans, and contrasting Can’t Comment Colin’s history of hypocrisy and radical record to my record of delivering for Texans for over 10 years in the U.S. Senate,” said Cruz in a statement about the tour.
Cruz is facing Democrat Colin Allred, Libertarian Ted Brown, and two write-ins in his bid for a third term in the United States Senate.
