Letter to the Editor: Re-Elect Judge Michelle Slaughter

The following Letter to the Editor was written by Robert Harris.

I am writing today to ask my fellow Amarillo voters to re-elect Judge Michelle Slaughter to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.

Judge Slaughter has been a dedicated judge for years — long before she was ever elected to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Judge Slaughter is a solid conservative Republican and a believer in our Constitution and our laws here in the great state of Texas.

The man running against Judge Slaughter has no judicial experience and is not prepared to handle the docket that this court will face. I applaud him for running, but his record pales in comparison to that of Judge Slaughter.

It is clear to me that Judge Slaughter is the right person to serve on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. She deserves your vote on March 5th.
