Q: If your campaign has any online campaign resources where voters can learn more about you, such as social media accounts or a website, please list them below.

A: tamboatler.com

Q: Why did you decide to run for this office in 2022?

A: I have always been interested in politics and especially in supporting Conservative Republican candidates which I identify with. I want Randall County to remain a Conservative Republican stronghold. I have the education, experience, and dedication to perform this job in a capable and respectful manner and I will dedicate the time it takes to do this office honorably.

Q: If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

A: Open government and meetings with citizens allowing anyone and everyone to have a voice in their local government. Fair treatment and compensation for Randall County employees with a benefit and pay package comparable to any private employer or government entity; specifically, to retain dedicated employees. Randall County has experience massive population growth in the past 10 years with 20000 additional residents. I will dedicate my time and experience to handle such a massive influx of population and the expansion of government services, fire protection, law enforcement, courts, roads and bridges, and other services needed to handle this population growth without massive tax increases.

Q: What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

A: I think the recent inflationary issues caused by federal policies have raised prices on all goods and services exponentially and caused a strain on everyone including citizens and government agencies. This is a problem that will have to be addressed by everyone including governmental agencies. I will address this issue without causing a strain on taxpayers who are dealing with the same issue in their personal budget.

Q: Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

A: I have 42 years of municipal employment with the Amarillo Police Department, promoting through the ranks from patrolman to Captain of two separate divisions. Over my career, I served on each shift and division, had multiple assignments, and worked every side of Amarillo. I was raised in Amarillo and am familiar with the neighborhoods of Amarillo and as the Precinct Commissioner position I am pursuing is almost all within in the city limits of Amarillo, my knowledge will be an asset to the community. I served with dedication and retired honorably and have the time, knowledge, and ability to dedicate myself to this position. I have the education and experience that is required for this position. I have extensive municipal budget, supervision, and management experience, along with state and federal grant experience. I managed around 100 police and civilian employees under my direct command. I have administered budgets and purchasing during my career. During my career, I obtained further education and obtained college degrees while continuing to work full time. I have extensive supervisory and management experience and multiple classes and hours of supervisory and management training. Above all, I am a strong conservative lifelong Republican who will stand up for you and support the Constitution and I will ensure that everyone's rights are protected and respected. I want my children and grandchildren to live in the same type of country that I know, where we are proud to stand up for the flag, support our military and first responders, and enjoy the freedoms we are guaranteed in this great country. I will hold these conservative, traditional values as sacred and I will ensure that they are never disrespected or disregarded.
