A: No, this is my first race

Q: If your campaign has any online campaign resources where voters can learn more about you, such as social media accounts or a website, please list them below.

A: Website: VoteMichaelDGrady.com , FB: @michaeldgrady.randallcounty , Instagram: @michaeldgrady , Twitter: @michaeldgrady

Q: Why did you decide to run for this office in 2022?

A: After attending Commissioner’s Court for the last year, deepening my understanding of the state of Randall County, I knew that I wanted to serve Randall County and help maintain the level of excellence and transparency that was shown to me by the current court and the department heads. Decisions today affect the next 25 years and I don’t want to leverage my young children’s futures just to grow. We have to maintain our conservative roots while continuing our historic growth of 20,023 people in 10 years!

Q: If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

A: My top three priorities will be continued growth for the county, employee retention, and maintaining a low tax rate. Due to the growth over the last decade, most of our departments are in need of additional personnel. In order to compete with other counties, we have to incentivize our employees to remain with the county so that we can add positions as well, something that the current court is looking into. In the last decade the tax rate has increased significantly Slower than surrounding counties, and I want to ensure it stays that way!

Q: What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

A: In talking to the department heads and studying the county’s budget, I’ve learned that our salaries are needing a reevaluation. The current court has recently began looking into this, but I want to help ensure that we improve the lives of our first responders without stealing from our children.

Q: Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

A: Coming from a law enforcement father and mother that used to work for AISD, and with my wife and I raising a young family, I understand the situations that most of our precinct are living in.

A large portion of the 4th Commissioner Precinct is under the age of 40, so it is logical for a fellow young conservative to represent them.

I am the only candidate that has consistently attended Commissioner’s Court before entering the race, therefore, I am the only candidate that understands exactly where the county government is now and the direction it is currently going.

I have studied the county budget and know how we can take care of our first responders without robbing our residents! It’s time to choose Tomorrow’s Future, Today!!
