Amarillo residents planning to run for Amarillo Independent School District Board can now find out more information about the election.
On amaisd.org, the official website of the Amarillo Independent School District, essential information about running for the offices can be found. Applications, finance report forms, and treasurer appointment forms can all be found on the website.
The website also includes links to the Texas Secretary of State's office for more information about seeking election in Texas.
Four seats will be up for re-election on the AISD Board, this Spring. These seats are currently held by Renee McCown, James Allen, John Ben Blanchard, and Eric Darnell.
Interested candidates can begin filing applications to run for the office, on January 18th.
