John Ben Blanchard is seeking re-election to the Amarillo ISD board of trustees in May.
According to a report from Amarillo Independent School District, Blanchard has filed the paperwork to seek re-election to the board. Blanchard is currently the only filed candidate for the board.
Blanchard is an attorney at the Brown & Fortunato law firm. Blanchard has also served on the Amarillo TIRZ board of directors and the Amarillo Hospital District board.
Four AISD seats are up for election in May of 2016. More information can be found on amaisd.org.
