Amarillo Civic Center patrons got a treat, last night, when the classic rock band Foreigner played the venue.
The jam-packed Civic Center crowd heard a melody of hits from the iconic rock group. Patrons were also treated to a rendition of "I Wanna Know What Love Is," featuring the Highland Park High School choir.
The band's show at the Civic Center was highly anticipated, selling a large number of tickets. The concert was announced in November of 2016, and immediately began selling tickets. Attendees to the show paid up to $95 per ticket to see the classic band. Attendees also had the option of purchasing a VIP ticket, which some eagerly took advantage of.
The concert was also in lead up to Foreigner's 40th anniversary tour, which will include an appearance by Cheap Trick. That tour kicks off in July.
