Astros Rally to Win Game Two in Extra Innings

The Houston Astros rallied on Wednesday night to secure a comeback win against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the extra innings of game two of the 2017 World Series.

On Wednesday night, Houston, led by a dominant Justin Verlander, secured an early one-run lead in the game and kept the game close for most of the night. In the ninth inning of the game, Houston tied the game at three runs in the ninth inning and continued a brawl with Los Angeles all the way through the eleventh inning.

In the end, Houston picked up the narrow 7-6 victory over Los Angeles in the second game of the series.

Following the conclusion of the same, SB Nation praised game two as "the Wildest World Series game in recent memory." Sports Illustrated also dubbed the game "the madhouse" and called it "absurd."

Houston will now host Los Angeles at home for games three, four and five at Minute Made Park in Houston.

Game three will begin Friday night on Fox.
