One local movie theater is set to show a classic Monty Python film, this weekend.
The Cinemark Hollywood 16 movie theater in Amarillo will be showing Monty Python's 1978 comedy classic "Life of Brian." The film starts the cast of Monty Python: Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. "Life of Brian" is described as a British religious satire and was released three years after its fellow comedy classic, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."
"Life of Brian" revolves around Brian, who is "born on the original Christmas, in the stable next door [and] he spends his life being mistaken for a messiah," according to IMDb.
The film will play at the theater on Sunday, October 8th and Wednesday, October 11th.
