Animal Board to Talk Volunteer Program

Members of the Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare Advisory Commitee will discuss the new volunteer program at the department during an upcoming meeting.

On Wednesday, members of the committee will hear a presentation regarding the new volunteer program at the department of animal management. A volunteer coordinator or designee for the program will address the board on the current state of the newly created volunteer program.

In addition, members of the committee will hear presentations on the new 90-four-90 plan by the Amarillo Humane Society and will discuss contributions by those at the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 SE 7th Avenue) on Wednesday, November 1st. The meeting begins at 5:30pm.
