Both Teams Look for Redemption in Final 2017 WS Game

The Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers are both seeking redemption tonight in the final game of the 2017 World Series.

Houston's Astros, coming off of a big series in Houston, dropped game six of the World Series on Tuesday night, to the dominant Los Angeles Dodgers. Justin Verlander, Houston's ace starter, kept the Dodgers in check for most of the game, but failed to hold up Houston's one run lead, by giving up two runs in the sixth inning.

Tonight will be the final game of the World Series as both teams look to be crowned the best of baseball from Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles.

Prior to the game, Houston's Lance McCullers, Jr. was announced as the starting pitcher for the Astros. McCullers reacted to the news by telling the Houston Chronicle, "I think the guys know in the clubhouse that I go out there and I'm not going to hold anything back. I think they understand that I'm willing to give everything I have for the guys behind me, and the guys in the dugout."

Tonight's game begins at 7:20pm on Fox.
