Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon will be hosting an Armistice Day celebration next weekend.
In commemoration of the 100 year anniversary of the United States' entry into World War I, the museum will be hosting a special celebration on November 11th. The event is being sponsored to promote the museum's current exhibits: World War I: The Great War and the Panhandle-Plains Region, Doughboys and Home Folks, and A Picture from Home: Snapshots from the Great War on the Plains.
The event begins at 11am at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon.
Admission is free.
