"West Texas A&M University is prepping for its 27th annual Festival of Lights on Friday, Dec. 1 with miles of Christmas lights strung on trees, shrubs, Old Main and around the Vaughan Pedestrian Mall. Participants will gather at the Jack B. Kelley Student Center for the lighting at 5:30 p.m. and then carol to the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum for its annual Christmas Open House until 9 p.m.
