Members of the Amarillo City Council will consider a resolution on Tuesday to rent 1,096 square feet of space at Rick Husband International Airport to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency.
According to an agenda posted for Tuesday's City Council meeting, councilmembers will consider approving an order renting space in the terminal of Rick Husband International Airport to the United States Customs and Border Protection Agency. If approved, the lease will be on a month-to-month basis for 1 year, with 19 automatic renewals, for a total term of 20 years.
If approved, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency will pay $1 annually for the use of the space.
Councilmembers will consider approving the order during their meeting on Tuesday, December 12th at Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue).
