The Amarillo Police Department has addressed a post floating around social media regarding a threat made toward Amarillo High School.
The post, which is floating around social media, claims that a threat had been made toward Amarillo High School for Friday.
In a statement APD addressed the posting, saying, "The Amarillo Police Department and the AISD are aware of a rumor that is circulating about a threat to Amarillo High School. APD has investigated and not found the threat to be credible. We believe that we have tracked down the source of the rumor and it appears that it is being fueled by social media. Classes at the school will continue as usual tomorrow."
