Candidates seeking local office in the May 6th election are required to file campaign finance reports by this Thursday.
Candidates seeking any local office are required to file the paperwork, unless they plan to raise or spend less than $500 for their campaign. Thus far, only one City Council candidate, Renea Dauntes, has announced their intention to fall under the less than $500 category.
The finance reports will be public record upon their filing and will be available to the public through the filing entity.
