Amarillo's Watson Enters Fifth Week on Billboard Charts

Amarillo native Aaron Watson's new album, "Vaquero," is entering its fifth week on the Billboard charts.

Vaquero, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Independent Albums chart, is now sitting at number 25 on the chart. The chart is currently dominated by Metallica's "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct." "Vaquero" also sits at number 48 on the Top Country Albums chart. The album peaked at number 2 on the Top Country chart.

The album also peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200 in its first week on the charts.

"Vaquero" is not Watson's first album to appear on the Billboard charts. Watson's 2014 album, "The Underdog" peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 during its release that spring.
