West Texas A&M University has placed 148 of its student athletes on the 2016-2017 Lone Star Conference Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The honor roll is announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with students qualifying based upon grade point averages. For students to be eligible, a minimum GPA of 3.30 must be held and students must currently be on the roster.
East New Mexico University had the most students on the honor roll with 155 student athletes listed. WTAMU came in second, followed by Texas A&M University - Commerce with 131 student athletes.
