The Texas Rangers were set to sweep the Kansas City Royals on Sunday night, but lost the final game of the series.
The Rangers had won the previous two game of the series against the Royal (5-3, 1-0) and were hoping to claim a third victory on Sunday but were stopped by the Royals in the ninth inning. The Rangers' Jason Grilli was pitching in a tied game and gave up a single that scored to Lorenzo Cain. That sealed the fate for Texas.
Grilli took the loss for the game and Kansas City's Kelvin Herrera picked up the win.
The Rangers are looking to rebound tonight on the road against the Baltimore Orioles. That game starts at 6:05pm on FSSW.
