Former Texas Rangers second baseman, and current Detroit Tigers player, Ian Kinsler was back in Arlington for the Rangers vs. Tigers game on Monday night.
Kinsler was unhappy with a call from the umpire, Angel Hernandez, during the fifth inning of the game. Kinsler protested the call by Hernandez and was ejected in his return to Texas. Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus was also ejected from the game after defending Kinsler.
After being ejected from the game, Kinsler told the Detroit News that Hernandez needs to "find another job."
"He's changing the game. He needs to find another job. He really does," Kinsler said, "I'm not mad at him. He just needs to go away."
Kinsler was back at last night's game in Arlington. Kinsler batted 2 for 5 in that appearance.
