Koben Puckett Invitational to Take Place

The fourth annual Koben Puckett Invitational, a sanctioned stop on the PBR rodeo circuit, is set to take place this Saturday.

According to Visit Amarillo, the event is set to take place this Saturday to benefit the PressOn Foundation. The PressOn Foundation's goal is to help people recovering from spinal cord injuries.

In 2008, Koben was a rising professional bull fighter but he suffered an injury when he was bucked off of a bull. Koben has since been working on his recovery and a way to help others who are recovering. Seeing the need to help others recover, Koben then launched the Koben Puckett Invitational.

"One step at a time, one gain at a time, no matter how small or how big, with a lot of hard work in exercise therapy and the use of adult stem cell therapy and by hanging onto hope, we are proving that recovering from a spinal cord injury is possible," Puckett said in a statement.

Tickets are $17.50 advance and $20 at the gate.
