The classic 1980's film, "The Goonies," will be playing on the Amarillo College Washington Street campus tonight.
According to information from Amarillo College, the showing of the film is being hosted by the Student Government Association as a way to kick off the fall semester. Families and students from around the area are being invited to the campus for the event and free snacks will be provided.
"The Goonies," written by Steven Spielberg and directed by Richard Donner, was released in 1985. The film revolves around "a group of misfits set out to find a pirate's ancient valuable treasure," and stars Josh Brolin, Jeff Cohen and Sean Astin.
The showing begins at 8:30pm.
