Local Petsmart Accepting Donations for Hurricane Victims

The local PetSmart store in Amarillo is accepting donations for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Petsmart's manager confirmed today that the store will be accepting donations until Friday for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The store has partnered with Street Volkswagen, which will be taking the items to those affected in South Texas.

Dog and cat food has been placed at each register in the store available for purchase and customers are also welcome to purchase any other items, according to the store manager. Donations will not longer be accepted after Friday, but all items purchased for hurricane victims will be taken to those affected.

Amarillo's Petsmart is located at 2800 S. Soncy Road. The store opens at 9am and closes at 9pm.
