Members of the Amarillo City Council are set to discuss the status of the negotiation for the multi-purpose event venue during Tuesday's regularly scheduled meeting.
On an agenda posted to the City of Amarillo's website, it was announced that council members will discuss the status of the negotiation in the executive session. Council will consult with an attorney on the MPEV lease agreement and related matters.
This item is the only item on the Council's executive session agenda. Councilmembers will also discuss a slew of rezonings and budgetary issues during Tuesday's meeting.
The meeting will begin Tuesday, September 19th in the City Council chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 SE 7th Avenue). The meeting's work session begins at 4pm and the regular meeting begins at 5pm.
