On Tuesday, members of the Amarillo City Council will consult with an attorney on the construction contract for the downtown baseball stadium.
According to information released by the City of Amarillo, members of the City Council will discuss the MPEV construction contract negotiation in an executive session on Tuesday. Members of the Council voted 3-0 in October to award the baseball stadium's construction contract to Western Builders.
Also during the executive session, members of the Council will discuss solid waste programs in Amarillo.
During the regular meeting, the Council will also consider an item that will authorize the city manager to employ the "most effective and efficient procurement and delivery method" to construct the stadium.
Tuesday's meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 14th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting begins at 5pm.
