Bluegrass Association Hosting Jamboree

The Panhandle Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Association is hosting a jamboree beginning tonight.

According to information released by the music group, the Panhandle Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Association is hosting its 34th annual Winter Jamboree in a new location this year. For 2018, Amarilloans are invited to visit the Amarillo Inn & Suites for some family-friendly music.

Several types of musical styles and genres will be included in the festivities. Some of those featured will be: family-friendly traditional bluegrass, gospel bluegrass, original bluegrass, traditional folk, cowboy western and western swing in free-forming jam session groups.

Live music will be featured each day from January 10th through January 13th. There is no cost of admission, as Amarilloans are asked to attend for listening pleasure as he jamboree showcases some of the top musicians of the Texas Panhandle.
