The Amarillo City Council is set to spend $160,000 on fertilizer during Tuesday's regularly scheduled meeting.
In the biggest expense of Tuesday's City Council meeting, councilmembers will consider approving a package deal to spend $161,401.87 on fertilizer. According to City of Amarillo documents, the fertilizer is needed primarily at the Ross Rogers and Comanche Trail Golf Complexes. Some of the fertilizer will also be used throughout the City as areas managed by the parks department.
Also during the meeting, the council will hear consider approving several rezoning ordinances.
The meeting of the Amarillo City Council will take place at 5pm on Tuesday, January 16th at Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue.)
