Amarillo City Councilman Howard Smith gave money to 320th District Judge candidate Marcus W. Norris during the most recent campaign finance period.
According to information filed with the Texas Ethics Commission, Smith and his wife, Carol, gave Norris a donation of $100 during the most recent fundraising period. The contribution was made to Norris on December 29th.
Marcus Norris previously served as city attorney for the City of Amarillo. During that time, Norris oversaw legal matters relating to municipal boards while Smith served on local boards.
Norris is facing Steven M. Denny, Pamela Cook Sirmon and Lynda Smith in the March 6th Republican primary for the 320th District Judge seat.
