Amarillo Police Investigating Dirt Bike Robbery

The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a dirt bike robbery that took place on Monday morning.

According to APD, an officer was sent to Sharp's Motorsports (4413 Interstate 40 East) on a delayed burglary at 9:45am on Monday. The officer found that multiple suspects had used a vehicle to damage the gate of the business and then broke out a front window to gain entry. The suspects stole three dirt bikes and left through the damaged fence.

The dirt bikes taken are described as being a 2018 KTM 150 XCW, a 2017 KTM 250 XCW and a 2018 KTM 500 EXC-F. All three of the dirt bikes are orange and white in color.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. An anonymous tip can also be left on police.amarillo.gov.
